Available for free 120-hours of workplace experience are Certified Logistics Assistants (CLAs).
Program grads have been trained in general knowledge of warehouse operations and equipment, and customer service. They will be fully certified as forklift operators and CLAs. They are able to perform shipping and receiving, packing, computers and data entry and safe material handling.
This is no cost to the employer, but funded by federal stimulus dollars. They will have a liability release and insurance.
